The skip hire prices we charge are for up to 21 days hire - they are not dependent on the number of days you have the skip for - most of the cost to us is in the haulage and the waste management.

We are flexible, however, and can offer "Wait and loads" or longer hire periods. Call us if you have extraordinary requirements and we'll do our best to help you. Skip Hire Prices quoted are all based on the following factors:

1. Responsible Waste Management and Recycling. topskips.com work only with companies that dispose of waste in a responsible and professional manner. We try to keep landfill to a maximum of 30% - in fact, many of our agents achieve recycling rates of over 90%! We do not endorse flytipping and our prices, although kept as low as possible, reflect responsible and professional waste management
    
2. Where you live. Different areas of the country are more expensive than others, due to factors such as infrastructure, wages, real estate prices, et cetera. We pass on savings wherever we can
    
3. Size of skip required. The size of the skip required affects the amount of waste that needs to be recycled/managed. The more waste – the higher the cost
    
4. Type of waste. Certain types of waste require more specialised, and therefore more expensive, management
    
5. Skip Hire Permits: it is law that all skips placed on PUBLIC HIGHWAYS are subject to issue of a permit from your local council. There is no national standard for this, and speed and prices of permits varies hugely from council to council. In some cases a council will INSIST on the customer organising their own permit, in some cases Topskips can organise it for you. If we do this, we will charge a £5 administration fee on top of whatever the council charges for the permit. We are the only organisation in the UK that keeps an up-to-date list of permit charges and conditions in the UK. If you want to see a pdf copy emailed to you, use our contact form here. 6. The Dreaded Taxman. There’s no avoiding it - VAT has to be charged at 17.5%

Our cheapest skip hire is a 2ydMiniSkip in postcode OL11 for £39 plus VAT. Prices do vary from postcode to postcode, but you can always be assured that you will be getting the best possible service for the prices we quote you.
