Builder Skip in a Cess Pit
Sometimes, even seasoned skip driver pros can make a wrong move – in this case, driving the skip truck and a builder skip in to a smelly cess pit. I don’t fancy the cleaning job at the end of the day, but luckily help was on hand to rescue the load!

A Quick Guide to the Mini Skip
Mini skip hire is mostly popular with domestic properties – they are small, so great for quick spring cleans. They hold up to 30 full bin bags, and are 4 ft long, 3 ft wide and 2 ft deep. We deliver them all over the UK, but for not in London. This is due to lack of demand – nobody in London ever ordered them, so we stopped doing them in that area. The smallest skip size you can get in The Big Smoke is the 4 yard midi skip.

Mini Skip Hire
We had a call from a customer of ours who had ordered mini skip hire and was undertaking some work in the garden. The next morning, she was carrying on the job when she found a tabby cat mewing. She went over to the skip and there was mother cat and three new born kittens. She scooped them all up and put them in a basket in the airing cupboard with some milk and food.
The cats were all OK, just a bit cold and they’ve now gone to a good home, but it was the last thing she expected to get when she ordered a mini skip from us!

Mini Skips
Mini Skips are great for those domestic jobs where you have just that little bit too much to take to the tip yourself. They are great for garden work when you’re shifting soil (they hold around two tonnes of soil) or if you’re clearing the spare room.
Just chuck the soil into your mini skip and then we collect and recycle! Easy peasy.

Celebrity Skip Hire Customer 3
Next on our celebrity role call is a Mr Nice himself, Howard Marks who was after mini skip hire in his hometown in Wales.
He booked and paid for his skip online, and then emailed saying he needed another skip. I rang him and we organised an exchange over the phone. He was very nice and charming (and I have to admit I swooned a little at his voice – deep and Welsh…mmm…).
