One of the things to be produced from Australia’s flash flooding was this video of a skip floating down the road in Melbourne. Silently gliding down the lane without dropping any rubbish on its way, this skip disappeared in to the sunset. It might still be bobbing about on the ocean wave. In which case, we’ll expect it be washed up on the Cornish coastline sometime in June 2012.

There are some waste disposal ideas that are so innovative you wonder why no one’s ever thought of it before.

Now I’ve got friends in Cardiff, and have enjoyed many a night out under the city’s bright lights. It’s a place I’d love to spend a weekend break, touring the town and soaking in the city’s atmosphere.

So I was shocked to see this image recently, allegedly snapped of a disgruntled customer unhappy about the prices he found from other skip hire companies for skip hire prices in Cardiff.
