One of our drivers was picking a skip hire Walsall up the other day and found that someone had dumped a load of, er, marital aids in the skip! The man who hired the skip swore blind he knew nothing about it, but there was something in his protests that made our driver think otherwise. He spared the man’s blushes and decide to take the load as it was. Battery operated devices aren’t particularly easy to get rid of, but it certainly provided a laugh in the yard when he got back!

Skip hire Coventry
When someone asked us for skip hire Coventry last week, we thought it’d completely straight forward, after all, Coventry is one of our busy areas. The driver set off, the weather was pretty ropy with all the snow fall but he thought he’d manage it.
Anyway, the address was down an old track heading to a farm, and – yes, you’ve guessed it – the driver got stuck in the snow. The weather was that bad, the 10 tonne truck got snowed in. The driver called the depot and we rang the farm to get them to get a tractor to tow it out. The driver was fine – he had his radio on, the heater blasting away and his sandwiches to keep him company!

ROROs – The Bins of The Construction Industry
People ring us onsite, and ask for a roll on roll off bin. Some people call them ROROs, others call them rolonofs. A few people just call them ‘those really massive skips you see on building sites’.
For trade, we deliver 20 cu yd – 40 cu yd roro bins, suitable for filling with tonnes of muck and other site materials.

Skip Permits
Don’t get stressed about skip permits – we do the legwork for you. Most councils allow us to apply for the paperwork for you, however some councils demand that you organise the permit. Annoying, we know. However, the process is simple and most of the time, you can organise it over the phone. Councils like Wandsworth and most Scottish councils will need you to fill out paperwork.
